This job was to replace two downstairs three-pane bay windows, and two upstairs dormer windows. Nigel Gray and his team arrived promptly on the agreed date. The work was completed without any fuss or disruption within a day and a half.
Some unforeseen issues relating to the original construction of the dormer roof were dealt with effectively. All the old window frames and glazing were entirely removed from the premises.
We are very pleased with the finished project, which has given us better-looking and draught-free widows in all three rooms.
We have worked with Danial on quite a few projects in the past 2 years. Our experience as a structural engineering firm with Danial and his team is wonderful. They are hard working and professional contractors.
Danial and his team did a great job of the work required. Top of the gable wall was replaced with new wall ties. Some roof tiles were replaced as well. New pebble dash put on and painted.
Team was friendly and professional. The price I was quoted didn’t change with no added extras. In fact they didn’t charge me for replacing some roof tiles that had come off.
I have worked on a number of projects with Danial & Nigel and their team. They are very professional and lines of communication are always open. It has been a pleasure to work with them and they will always be first on my tender list of building contractors.
We had a warm roof and replacement conservatory installed to replace an old worn out conservatory that was constructed many years ago. The conservatory has now been transformed and it can now be used all the year round thanks to the modern insulation materials used. We are extremely pleased with the work that was completed by an excellent team headed by Nigel and Dan.
All the work was completed to a very high standard in the timescale and agreed cost. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tiplady Gray Limited to anyone wishing to upgrade their property as we have.
I wanted a home bar built at my house and got Tiplady Gray Limited to do the work I required, I’m so glad I did. Nigel and Dan designed the whole bar for me and had some fantastic ideas of what to do. It has totally transformed our home and we don’t need to go out, as we love staying in now. The sound system, the lighting everything is perfectly done, thanks for making this happen for us.
What a great company, it looks amazing. Would highly recommend you to anyone that needs quality building work done.
I had Dan and his team round to a property of mine for some work. Absolutely amazing job, fantastic craftsmanship and lovely finish. Great guys and clearly very knowledgeable of their trade. No extra costs at the end. Tiplady-Gray will now be my go-to for any work that I’d need doing. Very professional and absolutely no complaints!
If you want new windows these are the people to go too, just had the whole bungalow done with new windows and doors and I have never found two people that are more helpful and obliging than Nigel and Danial. All the work was first class and any future building work that I require will be my first call. Many Thanks.
Tiplady Gray Ltd took on the build of our single storey extension at a very challenging time for us as we were expecting our second child and had given quite tight deadlines to ensure the work was complete in time for the new arrival. All their contractors were fantastic and mindful of the fact we were still living in the house with our young daughter. They did everything possible to ensure we had kitchen facilities during the build for as long as possible and when they encountered unexpected problems with the house they were able to resolve these with minimal delays to the project.
Tiplady Gray finished the project on time and let us settle in with our new born son before returning to complete some additional works that we had asked for. We love our new extension and were delighted with the quality of the work. Thanks Tiplady Gray.
All work was completed on time and to a very high standard. Workmen were polite and courteous and left everything clean and tidy at the end of every day. Would definitely use again and would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you guys.
They organised the building of our extension with bi-folding doors and skylights. Including kitchen refit. Very pleased with result and would have no hesitation in recommending them or using again.
Would highly recommend this small, local company. Dan & Nigel provided a wonderful service building our kitchen extension/utility room/downstairs shower room/landscaping. Reasonably priced compared to other quotes, and no unexpected or hidden costs. Workmen on site everyday, arrived when expected, and all reliable, friendly and tidy. Kept us informed at every step of the way, and excellent after care when small issues needed attention.
Craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding.
Thanks Dan and Nigel and team. Would definitely use you again and will be recommending you to our friends.
Danial and his team built a large extension for us between November 23-March 24. They were great from start to finish with good communication, a well put together schedule that they stuck to throughout and a quality finish. I would highly recommend them… and I already have!
The job was to build a new complete replacement of my old leaky, partly rotten garage roof and installation of a new automatic roller garage door. A new much stronger roof support beam structure was installed expertly by Nigel and team. Then the roofers installed the new grp (glass reinforced plastic) roof covering. Finally a new Garolla roller garage door was installed to complete the job.
I am very pleased with the results and now have a fully waterproof garage and electric roller garage door as well. I have also been impressed with Danial's project coordination, ensuring the work flowed smoothly and my queries always received a rapid response.
Tiplady Gray did an amazing transformation to the back of our house after we had fire damage. New bifold doors were fitted which are awesome. They transformed the house and garden. They repaired all the fire damage and fitted new cladding plus fitted a new window to the upstairs bedroom.
Cannot praise them enough all the work was carried out quickly and efficiently.
It's not every day you give 5 stars to a company that hasn't actually done any work but I am very happy to do so. We thought we needed some remedial work to a job done by another builder. Dan spent some time checking the build and advised us to do nothing (and the reasons why). Of course, he could have set about telling us the opposite and charged accordingly but it's a testament to his professionalism that he did not. He put our minds and rest and saved us thousands of pounds in the process.
I would highly recommend Dan and the company.
Excellent professional service. Amazed at how prompt the workmen arrived and the quality of the work. Very impressed in everything from start to finish. Would always be my first call to get any building work / repairs done!
What can I say! These guys have completely restored my faith in those providing services in the construction industry. Having had a terrible experience during a previous building project, having to go to court to claim money back for shoddy workmanship from a building company, I was extremely nervous about choosing anyone for further work I wanted doing. I found Danial and Nigel from Tipladygray Ltd to be knowledgeable, experienced, skilled, genuine, honest and absolutely true to their word. Not only this, from the off I felt able to trust them so that they could take over the complete project management which freed me up.
The end result was delivered to a high standard and was above and beyond what I could ever have expected and delivered within the original time frame and quote. No add-ons. In fact, they provided services over and above what was originally agreed. Finally, the team working for Tipladygray are decent, loyal, hard working individuals and a pleasure to have around.
Absolutely superb! Work was carried out whilst we were at work, we came home to no mess at all. Very pleased with the high standard of work, the finish is excellent. The quality of the windows is more than we expected. Very professional we will highly recommend. Thank you.
Danial and Nigel assembled an experienced team who completed the work quickly and the result was more than satisfactory.
They communicated well, had a can-do attitude and were ready to discuss any difficulties or questions we had throughout the project.
I was fortunate enough to work with Tiplady Gray Limited on a variety of projects. They have a skilled team and nothing was too much trouble. They stick to their quotations and the work is of high quality.
I would like to say a massive thank you to Dan Nigel and the team for all the amazing work carried out by them on my extension and for doing all the windows on my house. The work was carried out quickly and professionally. And they kept me up to date with everything every step of the way and took any ideas I had into consideration even if I was a pain and wanted to change a few things. But they went above and beyond to make my house better and clean and tidy when they left each day. Thanks again guys.
